Reims vs Nice Prediction & Betting Tips (11 January)

Reims is gradually sliding towards the bottom of the rankings in recent weeks, the fault of a series of 5 matches without a win, 3 draws, 2 defeats. The Rémois remained in draws in Strasbourg 0-0 and with the same score against Monaco before suffering the law of Saint-Etienne 3-1 last weekend. Here they are now 11th in the ranking, with a small margin of 5 points over the virtual barrage. However, Luka Elsner's team did not fail before the winter break in the Coupe de France, qualifying for the round of 16 at the expense of Mutzig 1-3.

 Their opponent, OGC Nice, is 6th in Ligue 1 after taking over Rennes 3-2 last weekend, thanks in particular to a very good first period. The Aiglons have a series of 3 matches without defeat in the Championship and have widened a gap of 3 points on their pursuer. In the other tables, Nice snatched its qualification away from Corte in the Coupe de France, after a penalty shootout, and should stop in the Europa League league phase while it remains two days to play. 

Today's Reims squad does not include the long-term injured Khadra and Daramy, as well as midfielder Fofana who has become a substitute. However, young defender Abd. Koné, in the recovery phase, has a chance of returning to the group. The transfer window has already hit Reims in terms of departures. The defending captain, Agbadou, is preparing to join Wolverhampton. He will not be in the game against Nice. The departure to NAC Breda of Busi, who had not played all season, will weigh less on the Marne squad. Luka Elsner must also do without midfielder Moscardo to whom he gives little playing time.
