Liverpool vs Atl. Madrid Prediction & Betting Tips (17 September)

Liverpool won his 20th title of champion of England last year, after an exceptional season. But the Reds did not win other trophies, released in FA Cup, beaten in the EFL Cup final by Newcastle, and eliminated by PSG in 1/8th finals of the Champions League. The new season had not necessarily started well, since Slot's men were beaten by Crystal Palace during the Community Shield 2-2, 3-2 at TAB. But the biggest arrival remains that of Isak, Swedish striker from Newcastle after a hell of a summer soap opera. Barely arrived, the important recruit Baena is already on the side and uncertain for this meeting, as well as the central defender Gimenez. The Argentinian international Almada has returned to selection and will be unavailable until the end of the month. A package of transfers has been made in the direction of arrivals, which may explain the poor results of the start of the season. We therefore note the arrivals of Baena (Villarreal), Almada (Botafogo), Ruggeri (Atalanta), Hancko (Feyenoord), Cardoso (Bétis) or Raspadori (Napoli). In the opposite direction, boys like Azpilicueta (FC Seville), Paul (Inter Miami), Witsel, Lemar (Girona), Lino Dias (Flamengo), Rodrigo Riquelme (Bétis), Reinildo Mandava (Sunderland) and Angel Correa (Tigres Monterrey) left the Metropolitano. The key players in the attack are still present, notably Alvarez and Sorho who had a big 2024-2025 season on the accounting level, while Griezmann is satisfied with a replacement status.
