Charleroi vs KV Mechelen Prediction & Betting Tips (4 December)

Charleroi struggled to overcome RFC Liège in the previous round, winning 0-1. A victory not far from being trivial since in the championship, it is not the regularity and positive performances which symbolize this team 10th in the championship, which has only won three of its last ten matches in the Jupiler League for 6 defeats against Zulte Waregem 1-2, Mechelen in person 0-2, La Gantoise 2-1, Union Saint-Gilloise 3-1, on the pitch of Standard de Liège 3-1 and Club Bruges 1-0. Last weekend, at home against the promoted RAAL La Louvière, Charleroi could do no better than a 0-0 draw. Like Charleroi, it was rather without shining that Mechelen qualified for the round of 16 of the Belgian Cup with a victory of just one goal against K.Lierse S.

The overall results are a little more positive for Mechelen who have only lost three of their last eleven matches in the elite but it is of course one of them that remains, against Standard de Liège, last weekend 0-1. The promising French international defender Therence Koudou (2 goals in 14 appearances this season in the league) will not be missed.
