Undefeated during its first 3 matches in the competition, Dinamo Zagreb was on track to qualify fairly quietly for the rest of this Europa League. The Croatians were able to win from the start against Fenerbahce 3-1 and against Maccabi Tel Aviv 1-3 before securing a good draw on the Malmö field. However, the rest was more difficult for this team which was no match against Celta Vigo 0-3 and especially against Lille 4-0 during the last two days, thus falling to 23rd in the ranking of this phase of the league. In the league, Dinamo will play a very important match on Sunday against its runner-up in the standings, Hajduk Split, in the fight for the title. For its part, Bétis is on a very good path to going beyond this regular Europa League season.

Better yet, the Spaniards, who are currently 5th, undoubtedly hope to keep their place in the top 8 in order to qualify directly for the 1/8 finals.
