Top sportsbook providers and platforms to watch in 2026
Discover the top sportsbook providers and platforms shaping 2026, from First.bet and Amelco to OpenBet, GR8 Tech, and more in the global betting market.

The technology sitting behind a sportsbook rarely gets the same attention as the brand in front of it. Yet, that platform decides almost everything that matters to an operator. Talk about how fast odds move and how a platform holds up when millions of bettors log in at once. Choosing a sportsbook technology partner is one of the most consequential decisions an operator can make.
According to a 2026 report by Research and Markets, the global sports betting industry is expected to grow at a CAGR of 12.8% during the 2025-2030 period. This data highlights the continued demand for digital platforms and their supporting technologies.
And with the continued growth of the market, the top sportsbooks are always working out ways to get providers that can easily cater to the needs of the market and the customers. These companies build the trading engines, risk management systems, odds infrastructure and player account tools that power the front-end apps bettors actually use. This piece looks at some of them.
First.bet is building modern sportsbook infrastructure
FIRST.bet is a Tier-1 B2B sportsbook software provider that now powers integrations with more than 70 operators worldwide. Operators can either take the fully managed, turnkey route or build their own product on SportOS, the company's API-based sportsbook engine.
The provider has had a busy year on the recognition front:
- Sportsbook Supplier of the Year: SBC Awards 2025 and EGR LatAm Awards in both 2025 and 2026.
- Best Sportsbook Provider: BiS SiGMA South America Awards in 2026.
The founder and CEO Tom Light has framed the company's approach around depth of trading rather than a basic sportsbook connection. This positioning appears to line up with how quickly FIRST.bet has expanded across Latin America and Europe over the past two years.
Developing flexible betting tech with Amelco
Amelco has been building sports betting infrastructure since 2006, when it started as a market data company. The London-headquartered company employs around 226 people and offers a modular solution spanning player account management, sportsbook, iGaming and risk management.
Its most notable moment in the US came through Fanatics. During a Massachusetts Gaming Commission hearing in mid-2026, it was confirmed that the upcoming Fanatics online sportsbook would run on source code supplied by Amelco. Combined with its existing role powering Hard Rock Bet, Amelco now sits behind two of the six most prominent sportsbook operators in the US market.
SportingTech expanding global platform capabilities
Founded in 2009 and based in Malta, SportingTech operates a sportsbook covering more than 100 sports and over 1,300 betting markets. It processes more than 800,000 live events every month while its casino platform aggregates more than 10,000 games from over 100 studios.
The provider refreshed its brand identity in January 2026 under the theme "The Winning Edge." Ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, SportingTech rolled out a set of mobile-first widgets, and in July 2026 struck a partnership with ThrillTech to bring player-funded jackpot technology to its network.
Powering large-scale operations with OpenBet
OpenBet has operated in betting technology for around 25 years and now serves more than 200 operators globally. During the 2026 FIFA World Cup, it reported processing over 175 million bets and $3 billion in stakes across its platform customers, with zero platform outages across the six-week tournament.
OpenBet's geolocation product, OpenBet Locator, carried out more than 200 million location checks across regulated US states during the same period. Outside the World Cup, it expanded its Trading System in February 2026 through a partnership with ALT Sports Data to bring official Formula 1 odds to its network.
DelaSport advancing customised sportsbook solutions
DelaSport, founded in 2010 and headquartered in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, was named Sportsbook Supplier of the Year at the SBC Awards Europe 2026.
Product-wise, the company has focused heavily on horse racing in 2026, launching a fully integrated racing product in the United Kingdom in partnership with BetMakers Technology Group in July 2026. DelaSport CEO Oren Cohen Shwartz pointed to horse racing as one of the most important betting verticals in regulated markets, which shaped the decision to build the product natively into the sportsbook rather than bolt it on through a third party.
BetConstruct is delivering global gaming tech
BetConstruct is an Armenian company supplying sportsbook, casino and platform technology across regulated markets. Its sportsbook platform delivers more than 140,000 pre-match events and 90,000 live matches every month, supported by 975 in-house traders.
Under new CEO Lena Yasir, the company launched a commercial offer branded "The Purest Sportsbook" in August 2026. This combines setup discounts of up to 65% for operators in Latin America, Africa and Asia with free sportsbook access for the first three months.
GR8 Tech with the next-gen platforms
GR8 Tech rolled out a significant upgrade to its flagship ULTIM8 Sportsbook ahead of the 2026 World Cup, separating pre-match and live betting flows and extending a widget-based architecture across its navigation layer. The Bet Builder tool was expanded to add corners, cards and player props to football markets.
More than 25 million bets were placed across the platform during the tournament, producing an average sportsbook margin above 12%. In the minute following the final whistle, GR8 Tech's platform settled more than half a million bets.
Looking ahead, sportsbook technology in 2026 will be shaped by providers that deliver reliable, flexible and scalable platforms. And as market requirements continue changing, companies that combine strong infrastructure with adaptability will remain important in helping operators manage evolving technical demands
