Anguissa has all the attributes needed from a box-to-box midfielder. He operates with a high-energy style; he possesses an exceptional dribbling ability for a midfielder with such a tall frame.

His tenacity is also a strong trait as he constantly demands possession back for his side. The Napoli man could perhaps be compared to former Cameroon international Alex Song, except Anguissa leans more to offense - he weighed in four goals and eight assists for his club last season.
