Betis vs Getafe Prediction & Betting Tips (21 December)

Betis Sevilla are 6th in La Liga at the start of this 17th day and are clearly doing the job against a good part of the championship. On the other hand, against the "big names", the Verdiblancos are a little less sharp, as evidenced by their three defeats against Barcelona 3-5, Atlético Madrid 0-2 and Athletic Bilbao 1-2. Casually, since the start of the season, these are the only three defeats suffered by the Sevillians. Recently, they even ended an 8-year drought by beating Sevilla FC at Pizjuan 1-2. Last weekend, on the lawn of Rayo Vallecano, Manuel Pellegrini's men failed to find the breakthrough 0-0.

During the week, Bétis tried to qualify for the 1/8 finals of the Copa del Rey on the Murcia pitch, results to come. Getafe, five points behind Bétis, last qualified for Europe, must take a positive result today on the road. Times are tough for the Azulones, defeated four times in the last five days of La Liga, against Mallorca 1-0, Atlético Madrid 0-1, Villarreal 2-0 and still without scoring for the arrival of the Pericos of Espanyol last weekend 0-1. Against Rayo Vallecano, Diego Llorente was injured in the first half. He joined playmaker Isco and full-backs Bellerin and  Junior Firpo in the infirmary. In the middle, probably preserved, Marc Roca was left out of the Coupe du Roi group during the week. Offensively, Bétis can still count on Brazilian winger Antony (5 goals, 1 assist) and Colombian striker Cucho Hernandez (6 goals, 2 assists). Suspended for the match against Espanyol, midfielder Luis Milla will be back on the scoresheet. On the other hand, Davinchi still remains injured.

Substitutes Coba and Kamara were not called up to take part in this week's Copa del Rey match. The Cameroonians Nyom and Neyou were not called by David Pagou to participate in the CAN in Morocco and will therefore be available to Bordelas.
