Three losses in the last five matches and just one win - Nottingham Forest’s current form is far from perfect. Last weekend Nuno Santo’s team faced Aston Villa away from home and scored twice, but also conceded four times - 2-4. Moussa Niakhate and Morgan Gibbs-White scored for Forest at the Villa Park while Origi and Awoniyi provided the assists.

Most probably Nuno Santo will stick to his 4-2-3-1 formation, but some changes in the line-up could be made. Divock Origi could be in the line-up to face his former club while Gio Reyna could be starting as well. Andrew Omobamidele is in contention to find himself in the line-up, too.

For Liverpool this match comes after the Carabao Cup final against Chelsea which they won. Even without Mohamed Salah, Liverpool showed their spirit and secured the trophy at the Wembley. Virgil van Dijk scored the winning goal in the last minutes of the extra time.

Mohamed Salah could return in the squad for the match against Nottingham Forest. The Egyptian star missed the last two games, but now he’s feeling better. At the same time Dominik Szoboszlai and Darwin Nunez could be ready to play as well.
